Just like with the robo-advisors, you can set-up automatic, recurring investments into mutual funds at Schwab, Fidelity, and Vanguard. All three brokerages don't charge any fees for this service, and the instructions for each can be found below. If you're setting up recurring investments, I recommend using DIYFi's portfolio builder, which are tailored based on your brokerage and age.
